COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

WHY THESE GUIDELINES EXIST

The 7 Letters Club was built on the belief that real community requires intention and that showing up for another woman costs something worth paying. These guidelines exist to protect that. They are not a list of rules for the sake of rules. They are a shared commitment to the kind of community every woman in this circle deserves.

When you join the 7 Letters Club, you are not just signing up to receive stationery. You are making a choice to show up for two other women who are waiting for your letter. These guidelines help make sure that every woman in every circle feels safe, seen, and genuinely cared for.

Please read them. Please honor them. And please extend the same grace to your circle sisters that you would want extended to you.

1. THIS IS A CHRIST-CENTERED COMMUNITY

The 7 Letters Club is rooted in biblical truth and the theology of in case i forget. The letter prompts are scripture-grounded. The heart behind the club is the belief that Yahweh El-Roi, the God who sees you, has you securely in His ever-loving hands.

This does not mean every letter has to be a theology lesson. It means the foundation of this community is faith in Jesus Christ, and that foundation shapes how we treat each other, how we speak to each other, and how we show up for each other even when it is hard.

Women of all denominations and backgrounds are welcome here, but if you're not Christian, be prepared to hear about Jesus because it's inevitable.

2. WHAT HAPPENS IN THE CIRCLE STAYS IN THE CIRCLE

Your circle sisters are going to share things with you that they have not shared with anyone else. Raw, honest, real things. The kind of things that only come out when you sit down with a pen and a prompt and give yourself permission to tell the truth.

Everything shared within your circle is confidential. This means:

  • You do not share the contents of your circle sisters' letters with anyone outside the circle, especially not social media.

  • You do not screenshot, photograph, or reproduce any letter you receive without the explicit written permission of the woman who wrote it.

  • You do not reference specific things your circle sisters have shared in any public space, even anonymously.

What your circle sisters entrust to you is a gift. Treat it as one.

3. NO PERFORMANCE REQUIRED

One of the things that makes the 7 Letters Club different from every other community space online is that there is no audience here. No one is watching. No one is grading. No one is going to like or share or comment on your letter.

You do not have to be okay in your letters. You do not have to have it all together. You do not have to show up as the polished version of yourself.

In fact, the woman who drops her mask first is usually the one who gives everyone else in the circle permission to do the same. Be that woman. Write the honest version.

4. SHOW UP FOR YOUR CIRCLE

Your circle sisters are expecting your letter. They are checking their mailbox. They made a commitment to show up for you and they are trusting that you are going to show up for them.

This means:

  • Send your letters on or close to the schedule included in your welcome package. One letter every two weeks is the pace. It is designed to be doable even in a hard season.

  • If life happens and you are going to be late, that is okay. Life happens. Communicate what you can when you can.

  • If you need to withdraw from the session for any reason, please notify Miki at hello@theologyandtestimony.com as soon as possible so your circle sisters are not left wondering and so any traveling artifacts can be returned or forwarded.

Showing up is not about being perfect. It is about choosing to be present for two women who chose to be present for you.

5. GRACE IS THE STANDARD

Your circle sisters are in a full season. They are wives, mothers, women carrying things you cannot see. They are going to write letters that are imperfect. They are going to miss a prompt and write something completely different. They are going to be late sometimes. They are going to need more grace than they can ask for.

Give it to them anyway.

This community is not a performance evaluation. It is a village, and villages are built on grace.

6. MAILING ADDRESSES ARE SACRED

Every member of the 7 Letters Club shares her home mailing address with her circle sisters so that letters can be delivered. This is a significant act of trust and it is one that every member agrees to protect.

Mailing addresses shared within the Seven Letters Club:

  • Are to be used exclusively for sending circle correspondence during the active session

  • May not be shared with anyone outside the circle under any circumstances

  • May not be used for any purpose other than sending letters to your circle sisters

  • Must be treated with the same confidentiality as any personal information shared in your letters

Violation of this policy will result in immediate removal from the club without a refund.

If you are not comfortable sharing your home address, you are encouraged to use a PO Box. USPS PO Boxes start at approximately ten dollars for six months and provide a safe and simple alternative.

7. KINDNESS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE

This is a community where women come to exhale. Where they come to be known without performing. Where they come because they are tired of surface-level and ready for something real.

That means the tone of every letter, every interaction, and every piece of communication within this community must reflect kindness, grace, and genuine care for the woman on the other end.

This is not the space for:

  • Criticism of another woman's theology beyond gentle, grace-filled conversation

  • Unsolicited advice or correction

  • Pressure to adopt your personal convictions or preferences

  • Any communication that is harsh, dismissive, or unkind

If a conflict arises within your circle, please reach out to Miki at hello@theologyandtestimony.com and it will be addressed with care and confidentiality.

8. THIS COMMUNITY IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT

The 7 Letters Club is a community of women supporting each other through faith, friendship, and handwritten letters. It is not a counseling service, a crisis support program, or a substitute for professional mental health care.

If you or a circle sister shares something that indicates a need for immediate support, please encourage her to reach out to a qualified professional or a trusted person in her life. If you believe someone is in immediate danger, please contact emergency services.

Miki reads every message sent to hello@theologyandtestimony.com and takes the wellbeing of this community seriously. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have a concern.
